Project Neon

Yesterday we installed my powder coated valve cover onto the car. I have to say, it looks absolutly amazing! It really sets the engine bay off! The polished oil cap with braided lines and blue hose fittings make the colours flow together very nicely! Now for some pics!

I’ve installed my Mopar Performance PCM into the Coupe today. Over all the install into the coupe was 100% easier than the 4 door. With the small battery in there it was basicly 7 bolts and a quick pull and we were done.

This is why I love Neons.

Today I went ahead and purchased a Kirk long tube header for my neon.  It comes completely wrapped in DEI header wrap ($50 USD). It has about 3 passes done on it – it was ment for a track car that ended up getting a swap. I got a smokin good deal on it $200 [...]

I recieved my new rad fans today! This time they fit perfectly!!!! Flow is great and still have room between the manifold and the fans!

Turns out we have a leak at the intake, the gasket was in pretty bad shape when we took off the manifold, so I have a Hondata on order to replace [...]

Placed my latest order at MPx today! ModernPerformance.com has to be my most favorite store ever! I can never seem to walk away just buying 1 simple part – my cart always seems to be upwards of $300.00 or more! Go big or stay home I guess!

Today I placed my order for some Booger Bushings. The cost sky rocketed since 2 years ago when I ordered my last set! This time it cost me $26.00 – I don’t think they’re worth that much. Oh well, I need them, my OEM bushings are totally worn out.

I got a black set.

This past Christmas I bought a set of SRT-4 rims for my 1gn. They had some shit SRT tires on them, ripped those off and now this is what’s sitting in my garage ready for some new 205/40/17′s!

Still deciding on if I should powder coat them or not…
