It’s time for me to put the wrenches down on this project! Not because I’ve lost interest, but because I’ve moved onto something new. October 27, 2009 the paperwork was finalized and I took ownership of a 2004 Dodge SRT-4. I will start a new log on this car as soon as I make a couple [...] Modern Performance has been having small ebay auctions of things they have laying around their warehouse lately and I’ve been lucky enough to score a grillcraft grill! This part is now discontinued by the company and is considered ‘rare’. I picked it up for the great price of $24.00! Can’t get any better than that!
It’s [...] I’ve thrown the whole turbo idea out the window for now. It’s just to much money for right now. So I’ve decided to just finish with the bolt ons this season. I currently have every single bolt on currently avalible from ModernPerformance.com on the car. The last thing I needed was the Kirk Long Tube [...] Today I had the Underdrive Pulley installed by Budget Muffler. They did a great job got it done within an hour! Shop fees were reasonable paid exactly $106.00 for installation. The gains from this pulley were awesome! The RPM jump like crazy when you’re on the gas! The acceleration is amazing! I love this pulley. Was [...] So this morning I installed my torque damper (bobble strut). Not much to say here. Took out the flexable-shock and replaced it with a solid bar with bushings. Engine no longer moves. Job well done. Also went to Canadian Tire and bought one of their “A/C recharge kits”. I have to say, best $50.00 I’ve ever [...] I got some birthday money today.. well I already spent it.. Bought a new rear bobble strut! SloR/T Fabrications Adjustable Bobble Strut So I got paid today… and guess what!!! Modern Performance had a sale on UDPs!!! Since the AF/X one that I bought USED last year was all chewed up I figured I might as well get a brand new one … a better one. With the Neon getting to be sooo old it’s getting harder and harder [...] So last night we decided to install the massive 0 guage kit that I had purchased from AudioSavings.com. Now 0 gauge is fun… but a real bitch to install!! Pics tomorrow! So I decided that the car needed more sound! Today I purchased a new head unit and some 0 gauge amp wiring. Why 0 gauge? GO BIG OR GO HOME! Anyway, here’s more info on the head unit and pictures! 2008 PIONEER DEH-P4000UB Features: Pioneer DEH-P4000UB Yesterday we installed my powder coated valve cover onto the car. I have to say, it looks absolutly amazing! It really sets the engine bay off! The polished oil cap with braided lines and blue hose fittings make the colours flow together very nicely!
